Step 1 Supplier

Supplier data

If you have already made orders before, you can - with a recurring order - retrieve the supplier data from your address list.

If it concerns a first order from the supplier in question, then you will most likely find the new address and the company details of this supplier in the so-called 'Search Google-Api'. If you type the company name in "Specify a location", probably the data will already appear. Then you only have to fill in the "Main Contact" and the "E-mail address" of your contact person.

When you have entered all the data, tick "Save in address list" and press the "Save address" button. You will see on the right that the status "Supplier address added" is automatically updated, visible by a check mark.

E-mail service: Inform the supplier

You will now see a blue button appear "INFORM SUPPLIER". If you click on this, a e-mail pop-up appears. All shipping details are listed in this e-mail. By clicking "Send e-mail", you inform your supplier of this shipment.

Pre-notification: Inform The Freight Agent

At the same time, with this same e-mail, you will submit the actual preproposal and The Freight Hero- Agent will further coordinate the delivery of the goods with your supplier at the port of loading.

You will see on the right that the status "Supplier informed" is automatically updated, visible by a check mark. It is now waiting for the signal that the freight information is received from your supplier. Then Step 1 Supplier is completed and you enter step 2 Sailing.
